European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) provides a number of attendance grants for ESCMID “young scientist members”. The grant covers the registration fee. Please apply via the ESCMID website before May 23, 2016. Applicants will be informed about their acceptance by June 1, 2016.

The applicants should fulfill following eligibility criteria for the grant application:

1. Applicant should be 35 years or younger.
2. Non ESCMID members who got a previous grant are not eligible.
3. Applicants are not allowed to reimburse the registration fees from more than one source.
4. In order to apply for the grant, the applicant should register at ESCMID. Registration without payment (here)* is sufficient for the attendance grant application towards retreat. However, if interested, we recommend you to apply for full membership (here).
5. The applicant should register for the Basel Postdoc Network Retreat 2016 (Register).
6. The applicant should submit your abstract for talk/poster (Submit your abstract).
7. The applicant should pay the registration fees for the retreat before 31st May 2016.
